Marine Lubricant
Description
A superior
lubricant produced from good quality mineral oils and specially
formulated additives. The oil contains high detergency and
dispersancy complete with anti-oxidant, corrosion inhibitor, and
anti-wear component. Its good demulsibility characteristics allow
the efficient separation of any water that enters the engine
accidentally.
Performance Standard
1. To meet Service
Category of API CF and Caterpillar MOT requirement.
2. To meet the
requirement of major manufacturers for use in their medium-speed
engines (e.g. Wartsila NSD, MAN B & W, Caterpillar, etc.)
Benefit
1. Provides rapid
neutralization of acidic combustion products
2. Has excellent water
separation properties.
3. Contains low ash
additives giving good temperature dispersancy and anti–wear
properties.
4. Provides excellent
resistance to thermal degradation.
5. Displays superior
protection against wear.
6. Its
detergent/dispersant qualities prolong filter life and maintain
engine cleanliness.
7. Increases oil
drainage interval.
Application
Highly recommended for
use in crankcase lubrication of marine crosshead diesel engines and
for trunk piston diesel engines operating on distillate fuels or
light residual fuel under moderate operating conditions. It is also
applicable to high speed automotive engines used in smaller vessels
such as fishing boats. In addition, it can act as system oil in slow
speed crosshead engines with separate lubricators and burning high
sulfur residual fuels, operating under severe conditions,
particularly engines with oil-cooled piston. Available in TBN 12 or
15.
