EN 2030 & 2040
Marine Lubricant
Description
A crankcase
lubricant produced from good quality mineral oils and specially
formulated additives suitable for high-output, medium-speed trunk
piston engines that require 20TBN oil. It is also used as cylinder
and bearing lubricant in marine and industrial diesel engines
operating on distillate fuels or residual fuel. The oil contains low
ash additive giving high levels of dispersancy, detergency and
anti-wear properties. Its good demulsibility characteristics allow
the efficient separation of any water that enters the engine
accidentally.
Performance Standard
1. To meet Service
Category of API CF and Caterpillar MOT requirement.
2. To meet the
requirement of major manufacturers for use in their medium-speed
engines (e.g. Wartsila NSD, MAN B & W, Caterpillar, etc.)
Benefit
1. Excellent control
of liner lacquering.
2.
Exceptional engine cleanliness.
3.
Good control of deposits at piston ring zone and piston under-crown.
4.
Excellent control of oxidation and viscosity increase.
5.
Has excellent water separation properties.
Application
For use in all medium speed diesel engines burning distillate fuel
or residual fuel of high sulfur level under all operating
conditions. It is also used as a cylinder lubricant for crosshead
engines or trunk piston engines with separate cylinder lubricators.
